Dwight “Skip” Stackhouse Earns Certified Master Inspector® Designation
Detroit, MI. (February, 2014)–DeBrikHaus Home Inspections is pleased to announce that Skip Stackhouse is now credentialed as a Certified Master Inspector (CMI)®, which is the inspection industry’s top professional designation. The Master Inspector Certification Board has awarded the Certified Master Inspector (CMI)® designation to Mr. Stackhouse for demonstrating the highest level of competency by completing over 1,000 fee-paid inspections and/or hours of inspection-related Continuing Education, for having been in the inspection business for at least three years, for abiding by the industry’s toughest Code of Ethics, for agreeing to periodic background checks, and for achieving an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau based on 16 factors, the highest approval rating issued. Experience:
Our lead inspector, Dwight Stackhouse, has years of experience in the field of home inspections and construction, providing more than 10,000 home inspections during his career. Mr. Stackhouse has trained many home inspectors in Michigan. He developed course material and has instructed many classes in home inspection training for career, investment and business programs, as well as providing expertise in historical home restoration, construction rehabs and renovations. Most recently, he served on assignment to the Detroit Landbank Authority, as construction manager and consulted with the Michigan Historical Society on the preservation and reconstruction of Detroit area homes.
